Life after the moratorium is possible!

This on Oct. 30 told participants of the Forum “LIFE AFTER: Key aspects of the launch of the land market in Ukraine.”

Opening of the Ukrainian agricultural land market will lead to economic growth, and the state will receive the greatest benefit from the liberal market model. More than 150 people visited the Forum. During two discussion panels speakers explained their views on the possible market configuration after cancelling of the moratorium.

“The open market is not the main purpose of lifting the moratorium. The open market is, first and foremost, the restoration of landowners’ rights, said EasyBusiness Project manager Dmytro Lyvch.

The forum was organized by EasyBusiness as part of the project “Advocacy for Land Reform and the Creation of a Free Land Market in Ukraine by Changing Public Opinion and Increasing Political Will” funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
